The original DFS Weihe was designed in 1938 by H. Jacobs at the German Research Institute for Sailplane Flight (DFS), intended to surpass the then very popular Rhönadler; the wing airfoil was taken from the Reiher. This model is a very beautiful laser-cut wooden kit of the finest quality. It can be built as a pure glider or as an electric glider, and electric airbrakes can be fitted at your discretion.
